Management of the distributor warehouse located in Canada, including inventory accuracy, establishment of stocking levels to support customer requirement, and conducting ISO audits Responsible for inventory accuracy including management of cycle count program, root cause analysis of any problem areas and management of physical inventories Interact regularly with Production Manager to ensure production schedules are met and customer requirements are satisfied Performs analysis of customer demand, historical records and interaction with sales force to establish stock plans for finished goods and to develop material plan for long lead time components Responsible for the development and management of existing supplier relationships to meet delivery, cost and quality objectives as well as researching and identifying potential new suppliersĪnalyze slow moving inventory and determine an appropriate disposition strategy. The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for managing the purchasing and inventory control functions by establishing a strategic plan for the department that supports the company’s overall strategic plan.
